ClemenzaKimble Says:
Nov 25, 2008 - 'My Shirona' was 1979. Just missed the 80's by a few months.

Nov 26, 2008 - 2:25 isn't just one of the best songs of the 80s, its one of the best somgs eversweet videos though :D
Ultibeast Says:
Nov 26, 2008 - songs*
ursa41 Says:
Nov 27, 2008 - They may have been One-Hit Wonders, but most of these songs still carry alot of weight today, you'll be surprised. A month ago, up in Toronto, I heard Major Tom, Katrina & The Waves,Scritti Politti and NuShooz being played in a nightclub and people really hit that dance floor! I don't see anything wrong with Ultibeast's commentary, & that mindless schmuck that gave you a negative rating is probably someone lacking taste; I'll take those '80s "one-hit" songs over today's shit (music?) anyday!

Nov 28, 2008 - Nice video, you should've added "The Waitresses" with the song "I Know What Boys Like". By the way, how is Nik Kershaw a one hit wonder!?
gunnerrat Says:
Nov 28, 2008 - Kim Carnes is not a one hit wonder. "Bette Davis Eyes", "More Love", "Voyeur" for starters.

Nov 29, 2008 - Everybody from the 80's has this nostalgic attitude for that era. I only remember a punch of girls creaming their pants at bands like INXS and Duran Duran. And there were all these guys who dressed like Roland Orzabal from Tears for Fears and thought Depeche Mode were butch. (Gives you a good idea about how lame hard rock was.)Maybe it is just, that for me, the 80's bands were too sensitive and faggy. Kind of like now!! LOL

dya91101 Says:
Nov 29, 2008 - Haircut 100 had another hit called 'Favorite Shirts' so they are not a One Hit Wonder.
tifjoking Says:

robdynn Says:
Nov 30, 2008 - look at the description. One hit wonders in the US pop charts not UK. and they peaked at 4 and nine respectively, not stellarnumbers even for uk standards
dya91101 Says:
Nov 30, 2008 - Are you in the US? I listened to KROQ of the 80's in Los Angeles and alot of these so called One Hit Wonders were played on KROQ with more than one hit song. I am not going by The Billboard Charts.
BillMcGee666 Says:
Nov 30, 2008 - The Church has a following to this day. Who cares if they only made the charts once. Most mainstream music sucks ass anyway.
BillMcGee666 Says:
Nov 30, 2008 - Buster Poindexter was in The New York Dolls - an influential band to this day.You can easily trace todays bands back to The Ramones, and from there to the New York Dolls and other bands from NY in the mid 70's.You might as well call The Clash one-hit wonders if you're going to ignore influence and cult followings and only focus on the charts.
bozolips24 Says:
Nov 30, 2008 - I know what you're saying. I was in Europe from 82-85. They went nuts over most of this fag music. I came back to the states and it was like 1/2 the male population had decided to dress like queers. I stuck with AD/DC and the other head banger bands. I didn't give in to this crap.
amerenio Says:
Dec 1, 2008 - the 80s were the summit of artistic creativity! the best of modern music
creaslin Says:
Dec 1, 2008 - Eddie Brickell and Swing out sister both had more than just one hit
