You need to realize the luftwaffe WASNT the SS, it was not run by the nazi party, but by the actual military. These men, didnt only fight for hitler, but for the protection of every german citizen. And if you wouldnt do that for you country men, your no more then a coward. Do you think the allied bombers were only hitting factorys? Or have you forgotten about the millions of civilians killed.

I just let myself get into a couple of exchanges on sites when I was only looking for airplanes. People were gushing over how they wished Germany had won, the allies were the bad guys, the Germans didn't start the war, there were no concentration camps, and so on. I felt it was ignorant, and disrespected all those who fought against Nazi Germany.

Dec 25, 2008 - yes, the military was the best in the world at the start of the war, but i must admit it the germans kind of list the war because of hitlers character. just an example: at D-day germans didnt send their tanks to the battle because they didnt have the premmision from Hirler and he was sleeping. noone was to desturb the dreams of hitler, or rather noone dared to do it.
