Nov 26, 2008 - I've personally had bad experiences with acer computers. Dell in my opinion is more reliable than Acer. Plus customer support is much less painful working with Dell.

Dec 1, 2008 - One of the advantages of the AAO is you can get the 6 cell battery which lasts almost 6 hours. The Dell Mini 9 lasts almost 4 hours. Dell is cheaper though.

Dec 11, 2008 - I did hours of research on netbooks and I decided on this one. People don't usually mention what makes this thing great. It's one of the lightest netbooks. It has one of the best track pads & left-right click arrangements. It is completely solid state. It has no fan so it's completely silent. I think it is a great union of portability and functionality. It is also easy to mod. The one bad thing is the size of the screen. They could have put a 10" screen in the same size case...probably coming.

Dec 28, 2008 - no it doesnt come with a disk drive but when your ordering one you have the option to place a disk drive in for additional money. i believe its about 80 dollers for dvd and cd. but just for dvd its around 20
