Jan 7, 2009 - I thought about this one too, and my reasoning for this is that it fits into the continuity. Remember that in A New Hope, Obi-Wan hands Luke Anakin's old lightsaber, which is blue. If you notice in this battle, at the end Obi-Wan picks up Anakin's lightsaber. Thus it makes sense that the last lightsaber that the "human" Anakin would wield would be blue instead of red.
