Sep 29, 2008 - it's so funny how shocking that kissing was back in the day.

launwatch Says:

Oct 7, 2008 - Unfortunately that's true. I never tought 20 years ago progress would be SO slow. Best wishes :)

launwatch Says:

tinagaucho Says:

Nov 2, 2008 - Don't forget: these two are supposed to be intellectual, doctors - while in Brobeback Mountain Jack and Ennis are the total opposite - country rednecks (no insult meant), who struggle even more with their own prejudice and fear - their social background is much more difficult, especially for "cowboys", the "John Waynes", rough n tough ones - no way they can accept their feelings. Not even after a whole bottle... So sad

Nov 9, 2008 - whats the movie that came out in the 80s where the guy finds out he has aids and his father dosent accept him he also has the seeger while he is sleeping. if anyone gets the movie i am talking about please tell me

hotgritz4sho Says:

Nov 11, 2008 - i never saw this in the theater; i saw on tv & was still shocked that the networks showed it, as a late, late night movie of course. funny how erotic & "shocking" this was for it's time. still, if str8 guys were/are watching this what does that really say about them? people typically hate what they fear, are jealous of or simply don't understand. i got so much from this movie. very pre-brokeback mt. it told a very different love story. i'd love to see a remake of this. who could we cast?

shaspassren Says:

Nov 15, 2008 - to me everyone is a human if people just get to learn each other we can all be happy. im str8 and i dont mind gay people i rather have gay friend then str8 to tell u the truth

Nov 18, 2008 - Pretty steamy for 1982!!! I was in Junior High...just realizing I was Gay when this came out. This is the first time I saw this footage...wow! Harry Hamlin still looks great today. I respect his courage playing a role that may be commonplace today but very shocking back then!

marklulrich Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - Thank you for making this available for all those who didn't or haven't been able to see the movie. There is obviously much more to the story, it's complicated. But it is NOT always true that you can't have real and true Love with another Man that lasts and is monogamous, it just has to be the RIGHT Man! I believe he is out there in my heart, I pray. We deserve Love as much as anyone else. Don't hate yourself for being what you never chose, it's just 2 people! 2 hearts nothing less nothing more

martinlindsgaard Says:

Nov 19, 2008 - This is why I hate some dudes; how utterly bitchy and slutty that charecther is that Hamlin plays - The doc-dude deserves better !

47matazza Says:

Nov 25, 2008 - The movie was called An Early Frost starring Aidan Quinn.

shaspassren Says:

Nov 26, 2008 - yes thank you i love that movie in gunna try to get it

marklulrich Says:

Nov 26, 2008 - I agree progress is too slow, but it IS different. The real measure is young people and do they have any POSITIVE role models, and do they feel alienated, alone and scared? Most importantly are they suicidal b/c sexual orientation. I'm sure, that what us a bit older(40)went through is MUCH less true now,and I thank God! Visibility is essential! When I went through "naming it", coming out etc. was hell I hated myself and was so confused. Young 1's hold on you're OK it WILL be better LV yourself!

mrblifil Says:

Dec 13, 2008 - Wow, Harry Hamlin is unutterably bad in this scene. He seems to have been given no direction whatsoever. He's just wandering around reading the lines. One gets the impression that all he wanted to do with the scene was prevent the audience from thinking of him as a stereotypically "bitchy queen." Lame.

videoserver Says:

Dec 16, 2008 - So true, now have to wait for the "ethnics" to catch up (FYI I am an ethnic)!

marklulrich Says:

Dec 16, 2008 - No, this was a Theatrically released Movie, I believe in 1982. What is a very natural thing? Sounds familiar, but I'm not sure, was anybody in it that "we" might know?

nanirbari Says:

Dec 27, 2008 - awesome

cub68134 Says:

Dec 30, 2008 - i must've seen this movie 20 times!

marklulrich Says:

Jan 1, 2009 - Hi sorry it took me so long to respond, but I wanted to say thanks for your comments. When you say "ethnic's, do you mean other Races? I'm guessing that's it. And I do know that in many Races off all kinds their view's about Homosexuality can be harsh and intolerant. But look we have a new President about to take office that is himself an ethnic Man. I voted for him and I believe in him. It is frustrating, I know for people to "get" something so basic Love is Love, period! Bye v/s, Mark
