Jan 6, 2009 - the name "moesha" is soooo ghettofied the only reason it worked on the show was because her character was far from ghetto and was smart and independent. i remember seeing an interview Brandy herself she hated the name Moesha and wished her character had a "normal" name like Tiffany or August.
