Sep 16, 2008 - His "guitar action" reminds me of Johnny Cash. Nice to see... Great songs. Bruce is the Boss! 5 stars for this.

Sep 17, 2008 - Haha, I'm a big boss fan, don't get me wrong, but EzrinJem2 kinda has a point. I've heard that Clarence called her Yoko around the time Springsteen broke up the band in the 80's. My ears also hurt when I heard her sing vocals in 10th avenue freeze out on his live in new york album. That being said, I've come to respect the whole band, and I think each member of the band has a unique and well balanced relationship in the band, which makes seeing them live all the better.

Oct 17, 2008 - During the 60s Comrade Springsteen was a draft-dodging pussy. Has this working-class hero ever had a real job? Springsteen has turned into a big freakin' political BORE. "America bad; Obama good." My ass, Brucie-boy. Just shut up and sing better songs. But you know what's going to be funny? If that idiot Marxist Obama gets in the White House and starts stealing, er, "taxing" Springsteen's money for "re-distribution." Joe the Plumber for Prez.

ArkRed1 Says:

Oct 22, 2008 - So glad I didn't buy this album. It's a real slap in the face to Pete Seeger. These "fiddlers"(?) on this song really need to take a few lessons in bluegrass soul. How plastic can you get.

Nov 29, 2008 - I`m a musician and that's my job, man. A real one. What's yours? A soldier, maybe? If Obama is marxist at your eyes... you got a big prob. Paranoia.

Dec 2, 2008 - Moron.

smallshot597 Says:

Dec 8, 2008 - Horrible act. I've always despised this man's voice. It's raspy and decrepit... and his vibrato is barely noticeable at best. He's got a horrible range... and whats worse, he plays the part of some sort of blue-collared hero of sorts. Bruce did a great job of bringing the monotony of this song... something he's very good at. If you like slow, depressing, repetitive songs that are almost always extended without purpose, then "The Boss" is right up your alley.

Rendmig1 Says:

Dec 8, 2008 - i can see your point smallshot597, but I sure love that raspy or crispy voice. And you can't deny that he has a great music ear, and plays a lot of different melodies, from "Born In he U.S.A." to "John Henry" Rock to folk music. and I certainly don't think this is depressing music, but great Jazz/folk.
