Dec 29, 2008 - The Nokia N96 is the biggest disappointment I have ever experienced with a mobile phone.It is slow. It frequently crashes/reboots. The voice dialling is lousy, the DVB-H feature does not work here in Australia, and the Nokia Maps GPS is atrocious.Nokia's customer service is very poor. Two emails via their website have yet to be answered, despite an automated message saying I'd get one!My advice? Forget this phone. Get a cheaper phone, buy a GPS and an iPod. Trust me, you'll be happier.

One thing I dislike about this phone and I have had about 8 phones this year, is the poor battery. I need to charge this beauty once every other day. Any ideas on how I can preserve the battery? Is anybody else experiencing this? Should I buy a different Nokia battery that is compatible?

Dec 29, 2008 - Yes it may not be as good looking as trophy girlfriends Iphone, Omnia and Blackberry Storm but it is better and much more user friendly. I have had at least 8 phones this so I know what I am saying. Think of it as wife material, natural beauty with brains. Regarding it freezing, I had the same problem when first purchased. To stop this, ensure all applications are closed properly. Check the menu (inc task menu) to see applications running. It should never freeze but then my battery is poor
