May 8, 2008 - I don't know much about Holden's except that they are a subsidiary of General Motors. However, this appears to be a nice ride. How much is a gallon of gas in the land down under at this time??

Aug 10, 2008 - Holdens were mostly australian made until around 1988 when they started using japanese engines, then continued to use buick and chevy engines. They are popular for their family cars the commodores and some sport versions like the brock cars, hsv's and old school rides like the hq, ht. At the moment a gallon of gas here is roughly $6 aud.
mhevalow Says:
Aug 10, 2008 - The engine sounds really nice!!!
mhevalow Says:
Aug 10, 2008 - You said that gas was $6.00 a gallon in Australia. OUCH!!!! That really sucks!! In the next few generations, we will have an entire generation of young folks who will never know and appreciated the fun of internal combustion. Thankfully for us, we can still enjoy it before gasoline is so expensive, no one can even afford to go to the store. Your Holden looks and sounds like a really sweet ride!!!!
mhevalow Says:
Aug 10, 2008 - You can really see the influence that General Motors has in the design of this particular Holden.
