Oct 11, 2008 - You could say the same about many british bands. With a large populace and variety comes the good and the bad. Surely an intellectual would be able to comprehend that concept. Sweeping generalizations about the intellect of an entire country is absurd and just plain ignorant. It would be on the same level as saying that Chris Crocker represents all the gay people in the world because there is "intelligent observations." Clearly, that is a false statement.

TuahShinguru Says:

Oct 11, 2008 - Good point. Now that I think about it, those people I mentioned did have a rather elitist attitude. Perhaps I'm a bit too biased. To be honest I'm a bit of an elitist as well, though I try not to be.

HyuniHyuni Says:

Oct 13, 2008 - I was a bit rash in my generalization. I should have said the majority of Americans have horrible taste in music. Jazz and Soul music was born/invented here; its the only true American art form, and those kinds of music are AWESOME. To be fair, maybe its not the populace that is the problem, but the industry. It seems American music has suffered a steep decline in the last decade, all thanks to greedy record execs in my opinion. oh btw f*k RIA.

Kraveth Says:

Oct 17, 2008 - Bach is god

keytologic Says:

Oct 18, 2008 - Truely people...all Americans are not idiots, but I have to say that living in America I have made an observation that most are a few bricks shy of a full load. Just keep searching there are intelligent Americans out there, I myself am not the smartest being out there, but please understand that making a large generalization without actually knowing different people in America is just ignorant and rude.

kingoftheintertron Says:

Oct 22, 2008 - Ignorant and rude, just like most Americans!LOLZ XD

Oct 30, 2008 - Sheer genious!

Tubitwo Says:

Oct 31, 2008 - You are absolutely right. I am at a loss as to why I misspelled it in this posting because I know the correct spelling and did spell it right in the first posting (see above). Also there is a typo in the 3rd line, firdt should be first. Must have been asleep at the keyboard.

Nov 11, 2008 - wow, you've met most americans? i've been living here almost all my life and i've only met a few relative to the population! you must really get around!

kingoftheintertron Says:

Nov 11, 2008 - Of course! Part of my duties as The King of The Intertron is to know about mostly everything. I didn't actualy need to meet a majority of Americans to come to a funny conclusion about them.Next time you are on the internet and someone makes a jackass comment and ends it with "LOLZ XD!" or something similar, just ignore it.Also if my comment was based on real data I would probably only need to speak to about one thousand Americans to come to a similar conclusion.

zombiebackrub Says:

Nov 12, 2008 - oh that's good. i was loathe to assume that you had any actual data to back up your claim. i had only thought that since you made a comment about ignorance that you wouldn't act simply upon prejudice, which is a type of ignorance in itself. carry on then!

SaiyanPrince339 Says:

Dec 18, 2008 - i don't know, friend...i've visited japan and lived in korea, and the music industries there are just as bad, if not worse than, america. this is exceptional music, but let's remember that it was written hundreds of years ago...

13Videos Says:

Dec 23, 2008 - Wonderful!!!!

LeixVonStewart Says:

Dec 23, 2008 - Yeah, some JPOP can sound really generic among itself. There are geniuses everywhere in the world, but their are also artists who suck but gain plenty of popularity eveywhere in the world.Omodaka, well they aren't just geniuses in Japan, they're also geniuses in 8bit. Even if the project was born in america it'd be just as amazing. It might not seem as amazing to Americans due to the fact that they understand the language, but whatever.
