Dec 21, 2008 - It's a Mandoguitar.
Coyoteboy12 Says:
Dec 26, 2008 - It's a Vox Mandoguitar. It's a 12 string an octave higher than a regular guiatr and it's strung in unison. They were made by Vox in the '60's and were a commercial flop. Brian Jones is holding one on the inside cover of "Beggar's Banquet. They are currently made in small batches by two companies - Hammertone and Phantom. They are pretty tough to play - super-wide neck and a of string tension. One player who has done some really cool things with them Buddy Miller.
