Mar 29, 2008 - This computer is awesome. It's good for having ths one and a little 13inch machine. The perfect combination! Desktops are so 2000

Mar 29, 2008 - I see a potential flaw design... When you put the screen in the closer position you see it's right over the cd/dvd slot drive.... Can anybody confirm if it obstruct the slot opening?

archeryhuntress Says:

Apr 1, 2008 - It can, if you pull the monitor forward and lay it on the opening. You can have it in the 'closer position' and not be on the opening too. The monitor is very movable to a position you are comfortable viewing as you can see in the video.

Apr 14, 2008 - I'm DROOLING. But it will be a distant day when I can pay $4000 for a portable computer.I'm an average working person, so I'm getting the Inspiron 1525. Should be here by next Monday. But as an artist, I'd LOVE THIS.

Apr 24, 2008 - Too heavy to have it on your legs and the keyboard unclips easily

spazie10 Says:

Apr 27, 2008 - I agree with the too heavy to put on your lap part.

May 18, 2008 - Does anyone know if this still comes with the Dell Premium Remote Control and Mouse? It's listed under "Design" on the Dell webiste, but when I customized it, it is not included under "Also Included with this System".I asked a Dell Representative in their Chat Room and she resonded that the items are not included. I might have been to broad when asking about the "Media Remote".Because I'm getting contradictary information, I will greatly appreciate it if anyone can get back to me on this.

May 24, 2008 - I purchased the HP HDX instead of this. It seems as though Dell has almost completely forgotten about this one, it takes a bit to find it on the website, and the specs are fairly outdated. There's no blu-ray option, the video card is pretty weak actually, and there is no 1080p screen res option, all of these are available with the HDX. I'm glad Dell pioneered the 20" notebook, but they sorely need to keep it up to date, or do a complete overhaul and give us something new.

Azinthios Says:

Jun 5, 2008 - There is a blu-ray option. However, in almost everything else, the HDX is more powerful (2.8 ghtz, etc.). I personally prefer the M2010 because, to me (and probably almost no one else), it looks nicer.

abulrezq Says:

Jul 20, 2008 - Piece of crap, i bought one (not to mension the price) and i rarely use it & i keep it in cold room then after 1 & half year the motherboard & video card damaged & the dealer give only 1 year warranty ,this type of notebook should be for heavy use but no this one is not, then the repair price is equal to buy a 17 inch notebook,i couldn't believe it, its not for heavy use (or even normal use) beware its a piece of crap, i swear i will never buy a dell after my money went to the fly with this one

Gman1025 Says:

Jul 25, 2008 - i love how he has to jam it so itll stay up.and the whole "the back of this looks as good as the front" is kinda an apple phrase. steve jobs says "the back of ours look better than the front of the others guys." which they do. but windows and other people just cant quite get things as good as apple.

dmxezz Says:

Sep 8, 2008 - this is awesome!

Ductoman Says:

Sep 26, 2008 - Just plain unnessesary.I thought that My HP HDX 20" was insanely large and clunky, but this thing is just too far.HDX FTW!

Jan 4, 2009 - ive been trying to get tis, but its missing quite a lot. barely upgradeable. (arent all notebooks?)no hdmi out put, no DL optic drive(just RW), ETC. otherwise its quite the desktop replacement.I say stick with sony's. Its about the same price range and size, plus blueray, hdmi and the like.
