Oct 18, 2008 - Actually it had nothing to do with the plane itself, it was a maintanence error when a few key parts of the wing were not put back into place properly.

Dec 17, 2008 - The never said it would be invisible... just virtually undetectable--everything has a radar signature, but the F-117 nighthawk was designed to be detected as about the size of a sparrow. The serbians had a new technique suggested by the russians that had to do with variances in the wavelengths that would make the plane show up and targetable for short periods of time.
