I'm a smoker(of winstons) and I know that it is a drug. More people smoke cigarettes than crack-cocaine. However people smoke and thats our right. We know its wrong so shut up. Tell everyone that is overweight to quit eating so much. But they probably won't because they are weak. Attacking and harassing smokers is easy because it is a choice but so is eating.

It's only been in recent decades that they have been.And yes, it was the custom for stars, animated or not, to outright advertise for their sponsors during the show. You can still see remnants of this in some places, such as Spanish language TV in the US.

How many people do you know that have "tryed" to quit smoking but CAN'T. I live in ohio where its illegal to smoke in public places. Which is a good thing because its been proven that second hand smoke is harmful to others. Its peoples right to smoke and its my right to not want to breath it. I mean come on its only fair.

Anytime smoke enters ur lungs, whether its a cigarette or a bbq, it is damaging ur health. I no someone who used to grill for this hawaiian luau place, and he got lung cancer from being around the smoke all the time. Btw, my cuzin has trouble breathing cuz my aunt smokes. Therefore, im convinced that it can fuck u up, but i dont really care cuz lighting up doesnt always kill a person.

Jan 4, 2009 - Bottom line...anyone can quit smoking if they have the right incentive. My grandmother was aheavy smoker for 45 years or so and quit cold turkey when she decided it wasn't worth it anylonger - she had a terrible cough and every timeshe caught a cold it would progress to bronchitis.

Jan 5, 2009 - A brilliant tv commercial. My father smoked about 3 packs a day for over 30 years and died at the ripe old age of 98. The best commercials were cigarette commercials. Minute for minute they were far more entertaining than the show they hosted. When I was a kid, my teachers smoked in their classrooms during recess. Now, they would be arrested. I think that I'll quit for now. Gotta have a cigarette.
