I suggest you do some research on what they actually had to do in order to even shoot at it. They did not have a lock and fired a ton of rounds and missles in the 117's direction. If the 117 didnt fly the same flight pattern over and over the Russians would have never even got a chance to fire all that crap at it and hit it.

That agility was taken from the f-16 matv, f-15 active, f-18 harv prototypees and designed into the f-22. Where do you think the Russians copied their thrust vectoring technology from? They got it from the previous stated planes that we designed in the early 90's.
