Jul 5, 2008 - By that time I don't think he did care. Bri and Robert fought like crazy. Brian never wanted him in the band, but Steve, who was his 1st choice, was committed to another band. Brian was miserable while Robert was there. I remember when Steve came back in late '96 or early '97 Brian was just overjoyed. With Robert he'd spent most of his time in tears or screaming & cussing. But with Steve - Brian walked around with the most beautiful smile on his face. Steve made all the difference in the world.
