Nov 21, 2008 - what happend to the people inside ? how many of them were killed?

IWAZB0RED Says:

Nov 21, 2008 - 90 degree banks at 200 feet are unhealthy

ninjasquidface Says:

Nov 22, 2008 - dude you could feel the heat off that if u were there :|

michaelbriannugent Says:

Nov 22, 2008 - Well, if it was down to the pilot showing off, and being reckless then the families of the dead deserve to sue the Air Force for every penny.

homiegf13 Says:

Nov 22, 2008 - Omg I cannot believe that actually happened! I hope there wasn't that many people aboard :(

dfitler Says:

Nov 23, 2008 - How about a little respect for the dead...FYI, everyone on board was killed. Just prior to hitting the ground, the ejection hatch on the top of the plane can be seeing leaving the plane, but there wasn't time for the seat to clear the aircraft. The pilot had been repremanded many times over many years for flying outside of the B52 design envelope and showing off. The sad part is that although a lot of folks recognised that he was a danger, he wasn't grounded, and it resulted in this.

Nov 23, 2008 - holy shit

bft2310 Says:

Nov 23, 2008 - a 360 degree bank is the same as a zero bankthe bank in this vid is something close to 90

ADzim4 Says:

Nov 23, 2008 - its electrical sparks from the plane hitting a power line

SturmmannSS Says:

Nov 23, 2008 - The Superfortress was NOT meant for low altitude, tight maneuvering!

KCCSinisterSix Says:

Nov 23, 2008 - The problem in this is simple--he was flying too low and doing a 90 degree bank. He needed to be at at least 1000 feet up, not 200

Lukoilovich Says:

Nov 24, 2008 - omgcan anyone tell me what was the problem with the plane

bigj70634 Says:

Nov 25, 2008 - The problem was not the plane it was the pilot. If you check out the 9 min video you can see why. He should have been banned from flying and sent back to basic flight training as punishment. His only punishment was having a officer accompany him on flights. This big of a plane is not intended for the maneuvers he was doing. When it reached the tower the plane stalled in the turn and he lost control at that point. They ejected but they were to low to the ground.

zbeast Says:

Nov 25, 2008 - The crash was caused by what is known as an accelerated stall. In that turn he's already turning tight.. I would say he's pulling 2 to 3g in that turn. He relies that he's about to over fly "fuel or bomb storage"which is agained the rules. So to prevent the over fly he turns tighter his air speed drops, the plane enters a skid and the lower wing stalls. There is no recovery possible he would need 2000 ft min to recover.

Nov 25, 2008 - who ever laughs at this u r stupid what if u were in there and u died whos laughing now!

pabloESCOBAR050485 Says:

Nov 26, 2008 - too low 'n' too slow

jjs4you2 Says:

Nov 27, 2008 - Pilot error. Lt. Col. Arthur "Bud" Holland had been reprimanded several times for aggressive flying and not flying within USAF guidelines. He had quite a few flight crews ask not to be assigned as his crew. He should of been grounded on several occassions, but for some reason his Commanders did nothing but verbal reprimands, if that!Google him, you will find that he was not only aggressive in the plane but on the ground also, The word "Jerk" comes to mind when describing him.

mrflintstone Says:

Nov 28, 2008 - *Stratofortress*. The Superfortress was the B-29

nastynorth852 Says:

Nov 29, 2008 - he was too low and not giving it enogh right rudder and too slow

YamadaKeisai Says:

Nov 29, 2008 - SturmmannSS, The Superfortress was the B-29.

YamadaKeisai Says:

Nov 29, 2008 - Hmm, somebody should have told the pilot that a B-52 was not designed to fly with the wings vertical.

danthemo Says:

Nov 30, 2008 - was the crew killed in this? or did they escape in time?

TheRemedE Says:

Nov 30, 2008 - That's what you call a show.

unleashfurys Says:
