Mar 14, 2007 - I can finally see that Brit-Pop in the 90's was inevitable. It was more than the 60's/70's mod revival that some journalists would have us believe. Obviously The Smiths had a huge impact on alot of these 80's C86/Indie Pop bands but just how much Brit-Pop owes to these C86 bands is immeasurable!

Aug 26, 2007 - The Darling Buds were a great band they didn't get the fame that they deserved. Andrea had a great image and I know that many of us based ourselves on her image, even now! Nov 18, 2007 - A wonderful time for rock music. Darling Buds, Mororcycle Boy, Primitives, Voice Of The Beehive, Transvision Vamp etc. The return of British Rock in a vastly superior form. It's no wonder it was ignored everywhere - all the good stuff always is, else how was Pat Boone big in the fifties ?Besides, there was no money in it for the Americans.

May 31, 2008 - loved this band to bits!all 3 albums great and they 'matured' into indie/grunge by erotica album. pity not much footage from that era cos the drummer jimmy hughes was class! bloss on this line up...nice kit but i dont think he ever hit any of the toms in any of the songs onthe first album lol!!!!
