PLEASE READ THIS AFTER YOU WATCH THE VIDEO...Very Important Information...Statistics show that 90% of all children's car seats are incorrectly used or installed! To find a location to get your carseat installation inspected, go to:http://www.seatcheck.org/ OR http://www.safekids.org/certification and click on "Find a Technician" on the right.**********NEWS************We have begun a non-profit foundation recently in honor and memory of Kyle. (please view our new video on YouTube.) You can find the webpage here - http://www.kyledavidmiller.orgOur mission is to keep children in a 5pt safety harness up to 80lbs - we are accepting applications from families who cannot afford to purchase these car seats and are supplying those seats through the tax-free donations you can make through the site. We also have car seat safety information posted and will answer any question you have on car seat safety through the contact webpage. Please visit the site and help keep as many children safe as we can. Please note that the Britax Regent, Britax Frontier and Sunshine Kids Radian 80 are the ONLY 3 car seats that harness up to 80 pounds. There is a lot of confusion about this because some car seats will convert to a booster and show a higher weight limit but that weight limit is for the booster mode, not the 5-point harness mode. If you do not have one of these 3 seats, please check your car seat manual if your child is over 40 pounds and you want to keep them in a 5-point harness to make sure your seat allows it. ***NEW NEWS*** The Kyle David Miller Foundation is pleased to announce the launch of http://www.HipMonkey.com - You can now purchase Britax, Sunshine Kids, Safeguard and Recaro car seats and many other baby/children's products from Hip Monkey and the 100% of proceeds from every sale will be donated to the Kyle David Miller Foundation to go towards purchasing car seats for children in need!! Please visit HipMonkey.com and help support children in need through your purchase!Video Info:My son was killed in a car accident last year because a senile, 78 year old woman ran a red light and hit us causing us to flip into a ditch. Kyle's seatbelt came unlatched during the roll and he was ejected. His seatbelt was later examined by several experts who determined it was faulty and told me that seatbelts can and do fail, especially in roll over accidents. I had no idea that seatbelts could fail and think that this is something everyone should be made aware of. The government also needs to be more strict about making sure the people they issue licenses to are fit to drive...**************************In Loving Memory of Kyle David Miller3/13/02 - 5/29/05

Dec 6, 2008 - Thank you so much for sharing this information. My heart goes out to you. I have kept this on my computer, so I can watch it from time to time to keep myself in check. I purchased the Britax Regent carseat a few weeks ago. My daughter just reached 40lbs. I feel I am protecting her to the best of my knowledge - thanks to you for informing me.

Dec 6, 2008 - I don't have children, and I don't know what it's like to lose one. I hope I never do. But years down the road, when I have a child or children and a vehicle, I will think of you and Kyle and how every child has the right to be safe. Bless you and your family, you're a very strong bunch, don't ever stop going. May his sister grow to be as beautiful and strong as her parents. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Dec 7, 2008 - I am so grateful that someone posted about this video in a car seat review online. I had just purchased a booster seat for my 4-year-old daughter today because even though she's still only 36 pounds, she is too tall for her car seat. I thought it would be ok because the booster was rated for 30 pounds and up, but after seeing this and other videos about 5-pt harnesses v booster seats in crashes, I'm returning the booster seat and investing in a seat that is taller and harnesses up to 65 pounds.

Dec 12, 2008 - Thank you so much for this video. I almost put my child in a booster seat, but started doing research after watching her put the seatbelt behind her head. She has been in the britax reagent for 2 years now, no other seat even comes close.

Dec 14, 2008 - Rachel, I'm glad you are not folding under the pressure of 3 year olds. Even my 10 year old is secured with more than just a lap belt in the van.He does not have idiot friends, so he does not get teased.

Dec 19, 2008 - I first saw this video 2 years ago when I had my newborn. I have never forgotten about your message and think of you all the time. You've potentially saved millions of children by the looks of your view count. thank you. As a mummy, I understand the love for a child but I could only imagine the heart ache you've been feeling since you lost Kyle. I hope YOU find peace.

Dec 22, 2008 - Ugh-- a sales pitch for a car seat. Too bad the spokesmodel is a twerpy-looking snotgobbler. If this were real, I might feel some sympathy. But this is just a clever sales pitch. Nice try.

Dec 22, 2008 - I am a mother to a 3, 2 and 1 year old and your loss is unimaginable to me. I can tell you that your little guy is smiling down right now because there are 3 children whose mom got the message loud and clear and will remain in the safest 5 point restraints. I found this while researching boosters for Adam & was so very confused about what to put them in. Tomorrow my husband will sit down to watch this so that he never questions my committment to car seat safety again....thank you.

Jan 1, 2009 - I have a 3 year old daughter and a five year old son. They are both in 5 point harnesses right now and I was looking to see the benefit of switching. I've been looking at videos for a while, and yours got me. My kids will be fighting me for years to come. When they outgrow these, I'll get bigger ones, but their never coming out of them if I have anything to do with it. Thank you for your information, and I am truly sorry for your loss.
