Yes, it does back flips. It is a Eurocopter BO-105 CBS 4 Twin engine helicopter. Stock model with a Rigid Rotor system, the fixed rotor is why it can do aerobatics.http://www.redbullusa.com

Nov 25, 2008 - kind of like if the engines stopped for a plane?
gmantoys Says:
Nov 25, 2008 - Not true. You have a better chance in a heli than in a plane. You can pick your spot to land with a heli engine failure. With a plane, you get one shot and need lots of room.

Nov 26, 2008 - Nah, choppers are much safer than planes. If your fixed-winged aircraft's engine stalls, you're fucked as well.

Nov 26, 2008 - yes but if ur 200 meters up on the sky or eaven 60, u fall with a heli ur dead

Nov 26, 2008 - thats SICK! I didnt think fully aerobatic choppers were actually possible!
GamePro0012 Says:
Nov 26, 2008 - How does a rigid rotor system enable a helicopter to do aerobatic stunts?
WhirldTraveler Says:
Nov 26, 2008 - It keeps the rotor blades from hitting the tailboom! The blades don't flap or teater like the other two rotor systems.
furley85 Says:
Nov 26, 2008 - That's a normal helicopter. It's what they call "stock." If you can't understand that then get a dictionary.

Toaster100inrs Says:
Nov 30, 2008 - um...thats not true. the airplane can glide, tho some can't gilde to far. the helicopter has a system where if the engine fails you feather the rotors, build up some speed in the rotorhead, and when the copter is 100 feet or less above the ground you pour the pitch into the blades and it floats down
slipknotdel95 Says:
Dec 1, 2008 - si vede che e' ritoccato al compiuter dai come fa un elicottero a salire cosi' velocemente e poi nella meta' del video fa vedere che sale in una posizione quasi perpendicolare al terreno. Praticamente impossibbile.
