This is edited together from US Air Force video and reconstruction animation of the Northrop Grumman B-2 crash at Guam on February 23, 2008. The crash was caused by moisture in the air-data pressure sensors - a known problem, with a known fix that was never written down

mxkxylplk Says:

Nov 8, 2008 - it has nothing to do with the pilots or the computer. They said it was a result of ice in one of the wing mechanism which was thawing and may have shortened the circuit panel of the computer board. That was why it wasnt showing on their instruments.

Nov 9, 2008 - but it wasnt his fault though

Nov 24, 2008 - Here we have our first billion dollar accident (and we're only #7 on the list). This B-2 stealth bomber crashed shortly after taking off from an air base in Guam on February 23, 2008. Investigators blamed distorted data in the flight control computers caused by moisture in the system. This resulted in the aircraft making a sudden nose-up move which made the B-2 stall and crash.
