Nov 12, 2008 - i take everything back romeo. You are obviously the toughest human being in the world. Id say the more likley thing is that your a computer nerd who likes to play army man. PS i used to live in thje jungle with gorilla's and ive killed 180 people by biting on their throats. Im tough too see!
WS6power02 Says:
Nov 13, 2008 - Romeo you have no idea what are getting yourself into. SEAL training is the most physically and mentally demanding experience of a Navy man's life. I'm sorry buddy but getting cuts and rubbing dirt in them and taking ice baths is not going to help you at all. And I can guarantee you that you will not be laughing at the instructor's face, considering your face will be underwater or covered in mud the entire time. Please don't insult my profession and please don't disrespect the Navy SEALs.

Nov 13, 2008 - WS6power02 has a point. Everyone thinks the navy seals are pussies even after seeing videos on Hell Week. During my time, I nearly fell asleep while running, My muscles were torn, and I nearly thought I couldn't do it. Its more of a mental training then physical training.

Nov 15, 2008 - 2 tours in Iraq. and on my second in Afghanistan at this moment. Finally made the decision to go seal. I'm leaving after I get back to the states. Do a little TaD at the Dive motivator and I'm off wish me luck.
Garcia0384 Says:
Nov 16, 2008 - Comparing Army Rangers to Navy Seals is like comparing Spartans to French people...
Breakdancingguru Says:
Nov 17, 2008 - what about green burets to seals? closer comparison right?
swimmer353 Says:
Nov 19, 2008 - Romeo, you will be the first to go and I wish I could be there to watch you fail. SEALs is about teamwork and respect. Clearly you have neither of those attributes.

Nov 21, 2008 - "we like last place! we like to be hammered."
paxtonnoble Says:
Nov 22, 2008 - the difference is seals do more water and diving, but both parachute, snipe, infantry exc. but basically the same. but i still think seals is more elite
Breakdancingguru Says:
Nov 23, 2008 - yeah that was the answer I was hoping for :) haha
PTsexybeast Says:
Nov 23, 2008 - Everyone should know that during hell week you get injured no matter what. And I do Mean EVERYONE. It's not easy and most DOR within the first hour. It really tests you. If you think it's easy enlist in the Navy, meet basic qualifications and see if you can make it past Indoc. Imagine only 5 hours of sleep for only 5 days while being pushed mentally and physically. Some people hallucinate and some push through. But it's not easy at all. BUDs training is intense and you should honor the seals.

ScottShelby Says:
Nov 27, 2008 - Holy shit, Lively was in BUDs while I was there back in 218 he was in 217 and failed out during land compass navigation. I can't believe he's back again. Must have waited the 2 years and re-applied.
cRuff00 Says:
Nov 28, 2008 - hes not, just an online e-thug
MarshfieldHockey22 Says:
Nov 28, 2008 - How old is he? I recall a graduation vid saying he was 17?
ScottShelby Says:
Nov 29, 2008 - Actually, he should be close to 30. We met because I heard he was a former teacher like me and yet still went enlisted. I may be wrong, but the fact he came back in 234 means he might have had to get an age waiver. He was a great guy, hard core, but great and I have to imagine he felt it was a little easier in 234 since Hell Week was the 5th week when we first went through.
funniboii08 Says:

Orvellrednbacer Says:
Nov 12, 2008 - If you say so. Dude you are the maximum age requirement to join. If you don't get through you will surely kick yourself in the ass.
